mountain wildflowers

In May we visited two hills Snežnik and Slavnik on the same day. Cloudy sky wasn’t a guarantee for a beautiful view all the way to the sea. But on both hills, we admired spring wildflowers and new green foliage. It took us about an hour and a half to reach the peak of Snežnik and about the same time to the peak of Slavnik. The meadow on the peak of Slavnik is a home for many different wildflowers, including peonies. Definitely the wildflowers were the star of the hike.

Maja sva v enem dnevu obiskala Snežak in Slavnik. Zaradi oblačnega neba žal ni bilo prelepih razgledov, ki sicer segajo vse do morja. Sva pa lahko na obeh hribih občudovala divje rožice in sveže zelenje. Približno uro in pol sva porabila bo vrha Snežnika in ravno toliko do vrha Slavnika. Travnik vrh Slavnika je dom številnim divjim cvetlicam, tudi potonikam. Zagotovo je bilo gorsko cvetje zvezda tega pohoda.
