Jota vedno tekne.
Last Sunday we went to Blegoš. We started from the village Laze near Cekno and walked about two hours uphill. At first, we walked through the forest. The trees were fresh green, the sky was clear blue and there were blueberries everywhere. We could see small fruits. Maybe it would be a great idea to return once again in July, the blueberries should be ripe by then.
We passed the hut and walked straight to the peak. On the top we can find some remains from the first world war like war bunker. The view of the surrounding mountains fascinated us. My husband was occupied with recognizing all the well-known mountains. In the meanwhile, I was busy observing the flowers. Before we returned to the starting point, we had eaten lunch in the hut. The special Slovene cabbage soup known as jota is always delicious.
Your hikes are always so spectacular. I would love to hike there!!!
ReplyDeleteFor me, that landscape could so easily be Switzerland. With the gentians too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful part of the world! I've walked in other parts of the Alps but never to your area. Your photographs do full justice to the scenery.
