Ampak najprej o dopustu, o dveh tednih, ko postane najin kombi najin mali potujoči dom. Fotke so narejene na večernem ogledu mesta, pred večerjo.
We have just returned home from our vacation in France. Full of impressions from the trip, I was a little surprised when I got home. It still hasn't rained here, and it is windy every day. Forest fires are burning a little over 50 km away, and it is still very hot. The grass is brown, the plants are drying up. The nearby meadows are yellow and brown, they used to be green. According to some forecasts, the first real rain will come only in autumn. I hope they are mistaken.
Firstly, about the vacations. For two weeks our van became our little traveling home and we escaped from our ordinary lives. We first travelled through Provence, and then headed towards the French Alps. At the beginning of the journey, we stopped at our friends in Nice. The photos were taken during the evening tour of the city, before dinner.
Naslednji dan sva založena z številnimi nasveti nadaljevala potovanje. Najprej do vasice Saint Paul de la Vence. V številnih provansalskih vasicah so manjše galerije, prodajalne domačih dobrot..
The next day, stocked with many tips, we continued to the village of Saint Paul de la Vence. Provence is often associated with lavender, but Provence is also a story about art, a story about wine, food, and a way of life. In many Provençal villages there are small galleries, shops selling local delicacies...
The scenic route from the Verdon Canyon offers views of the deepest gorge in Europe. We soon noticed that this year the water level is much lower than usual. In the evening we camped at Lac de Sante Croix.
So beautiful, though the high up view of the gorge freaked me out! 😄
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous scenery. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views of Provence! I am glad you had a great vacation, but of course the homecoming was not happy with the prevailed draught and forest fires. I hope you will be safe. This summer is hot and dry - again - in many parts ofEurope. The climate change is to be blamed?
