Zavetišče pod Špičkom se nahaja nad dolino Zadnje Trente, pod strmim vrhom Špička (2192 m).

The cottage Zavetišče pod Špičkom is situated above the valley Zadnja Trenta, below the steep peak named Špiček (2192 m). 

Hoditi sva začela na parkirišču na Vršiču. Pot je lahka, vzpon počasen, traja pa približno tri ure. Najprej hodimo skozi gozd, kasneje pa imamo lep razgled na dolino Zadnje Trente in sosednje hribe.
We started to walk from the parking lot on the mountain pass Vršič. It's an easy path with gentle accents and it lasts about three hours. At first the path leads us through the woods, later it offers a very nice view of the valley Zadnja Trenta and of the nearby hills.

Pozno popoldne sva pila kavo v koči na Vršiču in opazovala Ajdovsko deklico, kamniti obraz v steni Prisojnika (Prisanka). Legenda pravi, da je deklica živela v Prisojniku. Bila je prijazna in pomagala planincem in ostalim, da so našli pot v snežnih metežih. Prerokovala je, da bo lovcev sin ustrelil Zlatoroga. Druge ajdovske deklice so bile zgrožene nad nedopustno prerokbo, zato so jo preklele in spremenile v skalo. Danes je še vedno iz stene Prisojnika gleda proti Trenti.

Later in the afternoon we drank coffee in a hut on Vršič pass and took a picture of a Pagan girl, a face in the cliffs.  According to the legend, she lived on the mount Prisojnik (Prisank). She was very kind and always helped mountaineers and other people to find a way in snowstorms. She also prophesied to the son of a hunter that he will shoot the Goldhorn. Other heathen sisters got upset because of this inadmissible prophecy, they cursed her, and she turned to stone. Nowadays she is still in the Prisojnik wall, watching towards Trenta.
