our garden in November 2024
At the beginning of November dahlias and zinnias were blooming and the weather was warm and lovely. We have a smaller kiwi fruit harvest in comparison to previous year. Anyway, picking the fruits is always a nice job.
In the greenhouse last tomatoes turned to red in the beginning of the month and soon after that tomato plants were replaced with winter salad and onions. Outside I planted garlic and tulip bulbs in flower beds.
Last week we had snow, it only lasted a day, but the garden was changed dramatically.Naturally, we didn't forget to feed the birds.
This morning we had a similar snowfall and in spite of a sunny day, that snow is still around. Brrr……
ReplyDeleteI love to see plants edged with frost, the garden can be still lovely in the winter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast as autumn gave way to winter. Margi, your garden is so very productive and tended with love.
ReplyDeleteYou write only in English now? I miss the second language I don't understand, but enjoy pondering.
