First snow!

Last Friday it was snowing for a couple of hours, and we were excited like little kids. Of course, the snow didn't last very long, and already in the afternoon, it was only a sweet memory. But higher in the mountains the situation was completely different. Due to low temperatures mountain slopes were covered and snow created winter scenery.

The following day we had sunny weather and went to Mt. Tolminski Migovec. We started to walk from the village Tolminske Ravne and continued through the forest. 

Yellow and brown autumn colours turned to white while we were hiking to the mountain pasture Planina Kal.

After another hour and a half of walking we managed to climb to the peak. It was snowy and cold, and we didn’t stay long there. Of course, definitely long enough to take some pictures of winter scenery.

November days are short. It was almost dark when we returned to the village. Love days like these.
