December days are short, so mostly we walked close to home: to the spring of the mountain river Tolminka,

Dnevi v decembru so kratki, zato sva večinoma hodila po hribih v bližini: do izvira Tolminke,

to the Javorca church,

in cerkve v Javorci,

to the top of mountain Mrzli vrh

na Mrzli vrh

and to the mountain pasture Razor.That time it was so foggy we could barely see the path. 

in do planine Razor, ko je bilo tako megleno, da sva komaj videla pot pred seboj. 

But even in the dark foggy day we found a tiny little hellebore hidden under the leaves, 

Ampak tudi v meglenem dnevu sva našla majhen teloh, ki se je skrival pod kupom listja, 

saw timid animals hiding behind the trees 

videla sva plašne živali, ki so se skrivale za drevesi 

and in the evening we admired a moon above the snowy hills.

in zvečer občudovala veliko luno nad zasneženimi hribi.
