Tolminske planine / Tolmin mountains

Ker moramo še vedno upoštevati omejitev gibanja na občine, so domači hribi edina možna izbira. Včeraj sva začela na planini Polog pri Tolminu in se povzpela do Prehodcev, kar je trajalo približno štiri ure hoje. Sama nikoli ne merim časa ali višine vzpona, raje občudujem naravo. Nasprotno pa moj mož rad preračunava. Po njegovem sva se vzpela približno 1170 višinskih metrov.

Lockdown in our communities still must be considered, so only the trip to our local mountains is an option. We started at a mountain pasture Polog near Tolmin and walked to mountain pass Prehodci. That was about four hours of walking up the hill. I never really mind the time of walking or the altitude, I rather enjoy the nature. On the other hand, my husband likes to do the counting. According to his calculations we overcame about 1170 m altitude.

Prehodci so gorski prelaz, od tam do Krnskega jezera je samo še pol ure. Ker nisva začela najbolj zgodaj in ker so jesenski dnevi kratki, sva si namesto hoje do jezera privoščila odmor, pojedla sendviča, uživala v poznojesenskem soncu in se vrnila domov.

Prehodci is a mountain pass. The Krn lake is only half an hour away. We didn't start very early in the morning and the days are short, so instead of walking to the lake we took a break, ate sandwiches, enjoyed the autumn sun and then returned home.

Med potjo do izhodišča sva se ustavila pri izviru Tolminke. Takrat se je že temnilo.

Going back to the starting point we stopped near Tolminka spring. At that time, it was already getting dark.

Ko sva prišla do avta, pa je sonce že zašlo za hribe. Bil je popoln novembrski dan.

When we reached our car, the sun has gone down the hills. It was a perfect November day.
