our garden in March 2023
It's raining today and I'm really happy that I went around my garden and took some pictures two days ago. The meadows are turning green and birds singing wakes me up in the mornings. Sometimes I think they are just too loud. Daffodils are blooming in the garden and the first tulips are emerging.
Danes dežuje in jaz sem prav vesela, da sem naredila nekaj slik na našem vrtu pred dvema dnevoma. Travniki so vedno bolj zeleni, zjutraj me zbuja petje ptic. Včasih, se mi zdi, da so čisto preglasni. Na vrtu cvetijo narcise, pojavljajo se prvi tulipani.
Garlic planted in autumn looks wonderful. I planted onions, peas, and arranged a bed of strawberries. Tomato and pepper seedlings are kept in the warm shelter. At the moment, they are still very small and delicate and need our care.
Česen posajen jeseni je že precej velik. Posadila sem tudi čebulo, grah, in uredila gredo z jagodami. V toplem zavetju rastejo sadike paradižnikov in paprike. Trenutno so še zelo majne in nežne in potrebujejo našo skrb.
Lots of daisies are blooming on the neighboring meadow. They look like little stars in the night sky.
Na sosednjem travniku cvetijo marjetice, ogromno jih je. Videti so kot majhne zvezdice na večernem nebu.
Wow your garden is looking wonderful with so much spring colour! The quince is magnificent we planted a pink one last year but it only has about 6 flowers on it. Your seed growing looks very successful too! Sarah x
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good - just a little ahead of spring here. We could do with a few more sunny days to really bring things to life.
ReplyDeletewonderful pictures
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to love about the arrival of spring you are witnessing. Our gardens change so little in the course of a year. Certainly no daffodils, tulips or peach blossom.
ReplyDeleteWOW your pictures are so beautiful, I love your garden and the wonderful flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe daisy meadow is a dream. And good luck with your sowing ...

ReplyDeleteOh, so sorgfältig pikiert stehen die Pflanzen in Reih und Glied und warten aufs Auspflanzen.

Your garden looks at the same stage as ours. Well done on all those seeds. I have only just planted mine. B x
ReplyDeleteI could almost smell the basil in the picture it looks so delicious. Your seedlings look very healthy and are much larger than mine. I did plant the kale, collard and chard out in the garden this week and they seem to be quite happy even though they were tiny.

Your colorful garden and seedlings in the shelter look full of hope and the white stars on earth is a dreamy scene to me. Have happy April, Margi.
