our garden in October 2024

This October rewarded us with warm and sunny weather and blooming dahlias and zinnias. The colourful blooms are so welcome in the late autumn season. Apart from dahlias, most of the flowers are not in their best condition due to dry summer. Thinking of spring, I've already planted some tulip bulbs.
Sunny days are perfect for rearranging garden beds, creating a new herb bed, planting winter salad in the green house, planting winter onions …
One of the things I love in October is the golden leaves of the Asimina tree.
Morning dew, spider webs, white mist and a cup of hot coffee make the morning wonderful.

  1. This is such a wonderful post, Margi. The dahlias are eye catching. The vegetables lush and healthy. The cat amongst the autmn leaves gorgeous. The cows in the mist so lovely to see and the dewdrops on the web are glistening.
